Himachali named best veterinarian doctor

Dharamshala, Dec 13 (UNI) Indian Veterinarian Council has named Himachal Pradesh's veterinarian doctor the ''Best Veterinarian Doctor'' of the country for his contribution in the field of Veterinary Sciences, an official spokesman today said.

Dr Arvind Sharma was conferred the gold medal during an annual function of the Animal Fishery Science University at Biddar in Karnataka recently for his contribution on ''surgeries on horses''.

The spokesman said more than 150 veterinary scientists from across the globe present during the annual meet.
