Four security personel hurt in IED blast in Asom

Guwahati, Dec 13 (UNI) At least four security personnel were injured today in an ULFA-triggered IED blast in Sibsagar district of Asom when they were returning after defusing a bomb in an ONGC pipeline.

Police informed that the blast took place at around 0830 hours near Godadhora village under Kakotibari police station of Sibsagar district in Upper Asom.

A joint team of police and Army personnel were returning after defusing a bomb in an ONGC pipeline.

An Army vehicle was partially damaged and four personnel injured in the blast, police added.
