Former Minister accused in stamp scam arrives in city

Hyderabad, Dec 13 (UNI) Former Andhra Pradesh Minister and an accused in the Abdul Karim Telgi stamp paper scam Krishna Yadav today returned to the city after incarceration for over two years as an undertrial, after the Supreme Court granted him bail.

Mr Yadav, who was received by his admirers amid much fanfare alleged that he was framed in the case and would make public the facts of the case at an appropriate time.

Mr Yadav was accused of blackmailing Telgi on knowing of the scam and collecting money from him.

Arrested by the Pune police, he was lodged in the Yeravada jail as an undertrial.
