Britannia to acquire stake in W Asian group's bakery businesses

New Delhi, Dec 13 (UNI) Biscuit maker Britannia Industries Ltd today said it will acquire a stake in two bakery businesses of a group in West Asia.

''The company has entered into an agreement in-principle with a reputable business group in the West Asia, in connection with the acquisition of an equity interest in two of the group's Bakery Business,'' The company said in a statement.

The deal is subject to the execution of definitive agreements to complete the transaction on the terms agreed upon, it added.
