The Opposition called the boycott demanding acceptance of their yesterdays adjournment motion against rising crime and law and order situation.

As soon as the House assembled for the post-lunch session, some Opposition members, including RJD leaders Ramchandra Purvey, Ramai Ram, came to the Lower House.

Before taking up the enlisted business, Speaker Udainarayan Choudhry informed the members that the Opposition had called off its boycott.

He referred to the meeting held with the Opposition under the chairmanship of BJP leader and Presiding officer of the House Bhola Singh and said a decision had been taken in the meeting to run the House under the laid rules.

He said it was also decided that the member's conduct would be in accordance with sanctity of the House ensuring its dignity.
