Maharashtra's Nigel D'sa makes main draw in All India badminton meet

Mumbai, Dec 12 (UNI) Maharashtra's representative Nigel D'sa qualified for the main draw of the 5th edition of All India Major Ranking Prize Money Tournament, 2006 here today.

Nigel D'sa did not have to work too hard for his win against fellow state mate Ankush Jadhav, winning 21-14, 21-13.

Also making it to the main draw was India's current junior national champions Jishnu Sanyal, who defeated Railway's Bhanu Pratap Tripathi 21-12, 21-10.

In the Women's sectiono four players -- Gayatri Vartak, Kadambari Chedda, Jui Agaskar and Arundhati Pantawane -- made it to the main draw.
