Tata Steel, BlueScope JV starts bldg-solution mnfg facility

Bhiwadi, Rajasthan, Dec 11 (UNI) Aiming to reach Rs 2,200 crore turnover by 2013, Tata BlueScope Steel today inaugurated a building-solution manufacturing facility here.

Tata BlueScope Steel is an equal joint venture between Tata Steel and Australia-based BlueScope Steel.

It is a first-of-its-kind building solutions and products manufacturing facility.

''India needs building solutions to ensure the optimum utilisation of its resources,'' Tata BlueScope Managing Director Chetan Tolia told reporters.

BlueScope Steel Ltd is the leading steel company in Australia and New Zealand, supplying a large percentage of flat-steel products sold in these markets.
