Railways carry 464 mt of freight during April-November

New Delhi, Dec 11 (UNI) Sustaining its growth momentum, the Railways carried 464.37 million tonnes of freight traffic during April-November this year.

The freight carried showed an increase of 42.42 million tonnes over the freight traffic of 421.95 million tonnes actually carried during the corresponding period last year, an increase of 10.05 per cent.

During November, the Railways carried 61.04 million tonnes of freight traffic, registering an increase of 6.01 million tonnes over the actual freight traffic of 55.03 million tonnes carried during the same period last year, an increase of 10.92 per cent. UNI SKS RL ND1942
