One dead, 48 injured in accident

Bhopal, Dec 11 (UNI) One person was today killed and 48 injured when a bus overturned while trying to avoid collision with a dumper at the Bhopal-Berasia road near Chamari river in this district.

Berasia Sub-Divisional Officer K K Rajak said the bus was going from Berasia to Bhopal when the accident occurred. The deceased was yet to be identified.

Eleven injured were admitted to Hamidia hospital in the state capital, while the others were discharged after primary treatment.

Senior police officers rushed to the spot. The bus was lifted with the help of a crane.
