Munda demands a separate schoarship fund for Space studies

Ranchi, Dec 11 (UNI) Former Jharkhand Chief Minister Arjun Munda today demanded the state goernment to establish scholarship fund in the name of Kalpana Chawla and Sunita Williams in the state universities.

Mr Munda, also Leader of Opposition in the state Assembly, said the country was proud of both Ms Chawla and Ms Williams, adding it was also an inspiration for the girls aspiring to become a part of such opeation.

Mr Munda stressed the need for building a scholarship fund to provide facilities to the students, who wished to join the field.

He said three such students from every university of the state should be extended scholarship.
