IEEE Intl Symposium on Microwaves from Dec 15

Bangalore, Dec 11: More than 350 delegates will be participating in the second IEEE-International Symposium on Microwaves, beginning here from December 15, Symposium Chairman Dr S Christopher said today.

Talking to newsmen here, he said that Professionals from over nine countries would participate and exhibit their products in the Symposium organised by the Institution of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE). Over 110 papers would be presented and deliberated in over 16 sessions.

The Symposium would be preceded by a full-day tutorial on December 15 for the benefit of students of both Under Graduate and Post graduate expected to participate.

Dr Christopher said that the Symposium would be a platform for national and international experts to share their expertise for the advancement of Microwave Engineering.

ISRO Satellite Centre Director Dr K N Shankara would inaugurate the Symposium, while Indian Institute of Science Director Prof N Balakrishnan would deliver key note address.
