Detectives question key witness in Litvinenko case-Tass

MOSCOW, Dec 11 (Reuters) Andrei Lugovoy, a key witness in the investigation into the murder of Russian ex-spy Alexander Litvinenko's death, said he was questioned today by Russian and British detectives, Itar-Tass news agency reported.

''I was giving testimomy purely as a witness,'' Tass quoted Lugovoy as saying. He said that Russian detectives conducted the questioning in the presence of British police colleagues. The session lasted more than three hours.
