Crocodile caught from bathroom; shifted to zoo

Chennai, Dec 11: A crocodile, five-feet long and weighing 40 kg, was caught from a bathroom in suburb Alappakkam early today.

Police said Abdulkalam (56), who went to his bathroom, found a crocodile lying on the floor and alerted the police and the Fire Services who immediately came to the spot and with the help of the forest department. They caught hold of the wild animal.

Later, it was handed over to the Aringnar Anna Zoo at Vandalur, police added.
