Chowgule Steamships to buy Singapore vessel

New Delhi, Dec 11: Shipping company Chowgule Steamships Ltd today said it has entered into a Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) with Singapore's Skill Navigation Company Ltd to buy a second hand handymax vessel.

The delivery of the 1995 Japanese built handymax vessel with a 47,574 deadweight tonnes (DWT) capacity will be taken around February-March next year, a statement said.

Chowgule Steamships Ltd provides sea transportation of freight, ship brokerage, chartering and other shipping services.
