Bungling in appointment of teachers : Congress

Patna, Dec 11 (UNI) Bihar Congress today alleged that large scale irregularities were committed in appointment of teachers and demanded a thorough probe by state vigilance bureau.

Chief spokesman of Bihar Pradesh Congress Committee(BPCC) Kripanath Pathak said that reports pouring in from all over the state indicated that irregularities were committed in not only Saharsa but in other districts too.'' All appointments in Saharsa and other districts where irregularities were committed, should be cancelled,'' he added.

He said that recruitment process of teachers should be transparent and there must be no scope of irregularities being committed by any one who was associated in appointment of teachers.

Congress leader also alleged gross irregularities in preparation of BPL lists which was the main reason behind fruits of government sponsored welfare scheme not reaching the needy persons.
