Azad in capital to finalise state's annual plan
Jammu, Dec 11: Jammu and Kashmir Chief Minister Ghulam Nabi Azad today left for New Delhi to finalise the State's annual plan with the Planning Commission.
Sources said the Chief Minister will hold a meeting of the state delegation in the capital today before sitting with Planning Commission Vice Chairman Montek Ahluwalia on December 13.
State Finance Minister Tariq Hamid Qarra and Chief Secretary C Phunsog are already in the capital for discussions, they added.
Meanwhile, the state cabinet meeting has been postponed due to Chief Minister's Delhi visit. The fresh date will be notified later, they said.
