Air India Express to expand operations in Gulf sector
Kozhikode, Dec 11 (UNI) The public sector Air India Express (AIE) will expand its operations in the Kerala-West Asia sector with the availability of more flights after the ongoing acquisition process.
Talking to newspersons at a farewell meeting, Air India Station Manager Sunil Deshmukh said the AIE, which presently operated services to Dubai, Muscut and Sharjah, would introduce flights in the Doha-Bahrain sector by March 2007.
Mr Deskhmukh, who has been transferred to Singapore as Regional Manager, South East Asia Region of the airliner on promotion, said he would take up his new assignment on December 13.
