238 whisky bottles seized in Jamnagar city

Jamnagar, Dec 11 (UNI) Police seized 238 bottles of whisky and arrested five men in a raid conducted in the city.

However, one person managed to escape.

The bottles worth over Rs 1 lakh were recovered from the boot of a Maruti van, police said.

Cash amounting to Rs 17,000 and three mobiles valued at Rs 9,000 were also seized yesterday. The van was valued at Rs 1.50 lakhs and the total seizure was estimated at Rs 2.76 lakh, police added.
