20 school children injured in a bus accident

Anand, Dec 11 (UNI) As many as 20 school children were injured, two of them seriously, when their bus in which they were travelling collided against a tree near Vagasi village on the Mumbai-Ahmedabad highway early today.

The children of a primary school of Schanga village of the district were on their way to Pavagadh for a picnic when the mishap occurred, police said.

Vasad police officials have rushed to the spot and the children have been shifted to a nearby hospital, police added.
