2 killed, 12 injured in UP road mishap

Azamgarh, Dec 11 (UNI) At least two people were killed and 12 others sustained grievous injuries after a speed jeep, in which they were travelling, collided head- on with a truck in Azamgarh district this afternoon.

Police said the accident took place under Rani Kisar police station area, where the jeep rammed into a truck.

While two passengers died on the spot, the 12 injured were rushed to hospital in critical condition.

The deceased were yet to be identified, the police added.
