SIP Academy to set up brain enhancement centres

Panaji, Dec 10: Indian counterpart of the Sociable Intellectual Progressive (SIP) Academy of Malaysia has announced its decision to enter Goa by opening about 10 'brain enhancement centres' in the island state to develop young brains into prodigies.

SIP Academy India Managing Director Dinesh Victor said here yesterday that its unique programme enhances the peformance of children at the highest level in which Abacus and Brain Gym techniques were used for the development of the brain.

The Academy had already trained 35,000 prodigies at 320 learning centres across the country in 19 states. Globally, it functions in 8 countries with over 1,500 centres benefitting 1,50,000 students.

In addition to 'creating intelligence', the academy has been engaged in various programmes to empower women. There are about 700 SIP women entrepreneurs in the country as area partners, learning centre franchisees or course instructors.
