Kinetic Blaze bags top honour by Top Gear mag

New Delhi, Dec 10: Kinetic Blaze, the 165cc two-wheeler from Kinetic Motors, has bagged 'Best Design Automobile' award for 2006 by automotive magazine Top Gear.

The award is the only one for two-wheelers and Kinetic Blaze has won the honour among six big shots that included several premium motorcycles such as Honda Shine, Suzuki Heat/Zeus, Hero Honda X-treme and Yamaha Gladiator.

The award was selected on the basis of four crucial parameters like design, styling, practicality and suitability to Indian needs.

Kinetic Blaze, the first launch from Kinetic's groundbreaking Italiano series is a creator vehicle with high-tech specifications, detailed design and practical, user-friendly features.

The automatic two-wheeler has a four-valve engine that outputs nearly 12 bhp power and is priced at Rs 50,999 for drum brake version and Rs 53,999 for disk brake version.

Kinetic Motor company has sold about six million vehicles in India. The company has an international distribution and service network, three manufacturing plants and complete R&D facilities.

It has recently signed a collaboration with Taiwan's automobile giant SYM, San Yang Motor Company.
