Youth shot dead over love affair

Gorakhpur, Dec 7 (UNI) A youth was shot dead by unidentified assailants in Belipar area here late last night, police today said.

The incident took place at Tuesday in Hardiya village, where Balram (18) was shot at by miscreants, when he was sleeping outside his house.

He was rushed to district hospital, where he was declared brought dead, police said yesterday.

Balram's love affair with a girl was said to be the reason behind the crime. Meanwhile, a supect was being interrogated.
