Youth kills his girlfriend

Akola, Maharashtra, Dec 7 (UNI) A youth killed his girlfriend and dumped her dead body in jungle in Barshi Takli taluka of Akola district, said police today.

According to police, accused Gajanan Santosh Kolhe (20) of Regaon village allegedly kidnapped Mala Narayan Sasane (18) and killed her.

''Sasane, who was in love with Kolhe, asked him to marry her.

However, Kolhe, who was already engaged to someone else, refused to give in'', a police official told UNI.

''This angered Mala, who threatened to commit suicide'', official said.

''On December 4 last, Kolhe kidnapped Mala, murdered her and dumped her body'', the official added.

Kohle has been arrested under 363 and 366 sections of IPC.
