Victory will strengthen Congress cadres: Rao

Rajahmundry, Dec 7 (UNI) Andhra Pradesh Roads and Buildings Minister J Ramamohanarao today said that the Congress victory in Bobbili Lok Sabha constituency would boost up the morale of cadres and strengthen the party.

Talking to newspersons here Mr Rao said he had expected the victory margin to be more. However the Congress was happy of wresting the Bobbili seat as it was a Telugu Desam Party bastion.

He said cadres would work with renewed vigour to strengthen the party. People at Bobbili had voted for the government's developmental activites, he added.

When asked about the Telangana issue, he said UPA was seized of the matter and Congress President Sonia Gandhi would take appropriate action.
