US EXL services likely to open BPO unit in Kolkata:Bhalla

Kolkata, Dec 7 (UNI) Exl Services, a US based BPO company, is looking at opportunities to set up BPO unit in West Bengal.

EXL Services Vice-President and Business leader Vikash Bhalla told UNI today that the company representatives would meet state IT minister Debesh Das to discuss investment opportunities.

''We have primarily selected three cities Hyderabad, Chennai and Kolkata. Out of these Kolkata is in our priority list because of its huge talent pool,Ғ he said.

The company has BPOs in Gurgaon and Noida among others.

EXL is likely to end the year 2006 with revenues of USD 117.5 to USD 118.5 million, he added. EXLs current market cap is USD 687.88 million. It is a leading end-to-end business process outsourcing solution provider. It has over 7,900 employees and six-service delivery centres. EXL engages in developing and deploying business process outsourcing solutions (BPO), including transaction-processing services and Internet and voice-based customer care services to global 1000 companies in the banking, financial services and insurance segment.
