Two killed in fog-related accidents in Punjab
Chandigarh, Dec 7 (UNI) Two people were killed in fog-related accidents in Punjab, where cold wave renewed today following further drop in the mercury, as higher reaches in Himachal Pradesh experienced fresh snowfall.
Two people were killed and two others injured when two cars and two trucks going in one direction collided with each other on the national highway, shrouded in fog, at Khanna in Ludhiana district today.
The deceased were identified as Shiv Kumar and Raj Kumar, both residents of Ambala, a report from Ludhiana said.
With these deaths, the toll due to the current spell of cold and fog-related accidents rose to six in Punjab and Haryana so far.
