Sadhu Yadav sent back to jail

Patna, Dec 7 (UNI) RJD MP Anirudh Prasad alias Sadhu Yadav was sent back to judicial custody by a special court here today in connection with a case of cheating and forgery.

During the day, Yadav was produced by the officials of state vigilance investigation bureau before special vigilance judge of Patna Muni Lal Paswan after expiry of two-day interrogation period on police remand.

Meanwhile, special judge Muni Lal Paswan after hearing the regular bail petition directed the bureau to produce detail memorandum of evidence collected against Yadav.

The next hearing on the bail petition would be held on December 11.

The case was related to transfer of the ownership of a vehicle in favour of Yadav in Patna district transport office by committing cheating and forgery although the vehicle was registered in the name of another person in Delhi motor vehcile licensing authorities.

Yadav was in judicial custody in the case after his surrender before the special court on December 4, 2006 last.
