R-Comm adds 1.35 mln subscribers in November

New Delhi, Dec 7 (UNI) Telecom major Reliance Communications today announced a record 1.35 million net subscriber additions on its wireless network during November this year.

Reliance Communications' monthly net subscriber additions experienced a growth rate of 17 per cent over the previous quarter across both the GSM and CDMA platforms.

''It is an encouraging sign for us as many million consumers coming on the Indian telecom networks have chosen Reliance Communications, resulting in robust growth in our customer base,'' said Mr S P Shukla, President Personal Business, Reliance Communications.

During November, Reliance Communications crossed the four million subscriber base landmark in Maharastra including Mumbai.

Its subscriber base in east and west Uttar Pradesh crossed three million, in Andhra Pradesh 2.5 million while in Madhya Pradesh its subscriber base stood at two million last month.

The company has a customer base of over 29 million including 9,00,000 individual overseas retail customers.
