Production warrant against Shahabuddin

Muzzafarpur, Dec 7 (UNI) A local court here today issued production warrant against RJD MP Mahammad Shahabuddin in a case of impersonation.

Chief Judicial Magistrate of Muzzafarpur Choudhary Brijendra Kumar Rai issuing the production warrant directed Superintendent of Siwan jail to produce Shahabuddin in his court in the case.

Shahabuddin was currently lodged in Siwan jail in connection with a number cirminal cases.

Earlier a petition was filed before the court by investigating officer of the case town DSP Arun Kumar Gupta with a prayer to issue production warrant against Shahabuddin.

It was stated in the petition that there was sufficient evidence against Shahabuddin in the case.

According to the charges, somebody else took the examination of law graduate in place of Shahabuddin at the RDS college centre of Bihar University.

The principals of law college and RDS college of the University are already lodged in jail in the same case.
