Police registers case aganist DSP

Guntur, Andhra Pradesh, Dec 7 (UNI) The police have registered a case against Deputy Superintendent of Police, R Narsaraju, Chittoor district on the charge of altering date of birth by ten years, and four suspended others in this connection here today.

Police said, Mr Narsaraju altered his date of birth from July 15, 1948 to June 16, 1956 in the birth certificate.

The IGP found that the records were tampered while inspecting the DSP's service register and the Inspector's integrated seniority list.

The IGP suspended four employees of the DSP office for their involvement in the tampering, police added.
