Music Director gets bail in cheque bounce case

Mumbai, Dec 7 (UNI) A local court today granted bail to Bollywood Music Director Dilip Sen on a cash bond of Rs 15,000 in a cheque bounce case in Jharkhand.

Metropolitan Magistrate A Gounkar at Borivali court released Sen on cash bail and directed him to appear before Jharkhand Consumer Court on or before December 15 this year.

Sen was arrested by Oshiwara Police last night from his Andheri residence following a warrant issued against him by the Jharkhand Consumer Court after a cheque of Rs 2.5 lakh issued by him to a show organiser in 2003, had bounced.
