Srinagar, Dec 7: Dukhtaran-e-Millat (Daughters of Faith) chief Asiya Andrabi rejected Pakistan President Pervez Musharraf's four- point formula, saying the military ruler has no locus standi on Jammu and Kashmir.

''Who has given Gen Musharraf the right to deviate from the historical and fundamental stand of Pakistan on Kashmir? He is a dictator and an aggressor and is not the representative of the people of his country,'' she said here.

The Dukhtaran-e-Millat chairperson said the people of Pakistan, that country's parliament and other organisations would never give up the 60-year-old fundamental stand on Kashmir.

''If Gen Musharraf cannot support our freedom struggle, then he should not play any role to strengthen the Indian occupation in Jammu and Kashmir. His proposal is tantamount to strengthening the Indian rule in Jammu and Kashmir,'' she added.

Ms Andrabi asked firebrand separatist leader and breakaway Hurriyat chairman Syed Ali Shah Geelani to launch and lead an ''indigenous resistance movement''.

''Let us continue with our movement without the support of any agency,'' she suggested and asked the militant outfits not to ''bow under any kind of pressure and respect the sacrifices of those who gave their lives for the Kashmir cause.'' Ms Andrabi also asked moderate Hurriyat chairman Mirwaiz Umar Farooq to clarify his stand on Kashmir. ''I ask the Mirwaiz to clarify his stand so that the people can differentiate between the real representative and the traitor...The Mirwaiz is playing the role of Sheikh Mohammad Abdullah,'' she added.

Meanwhile, Muslim League chief Mushtaq-ul-Islam, in a statement, said Gen Musharraf issues such statements to keep the US in a ''good humour''.

He described the Pakistan President as the ''spokesman of the US and West''. ''Gen Musharraf has no right to decide the Kashmir issue according to his whims and wishes,'' he said, adding the vexed tangle should be resolved in accordance with the UN resolutions.

The Muslim League chief said the bilateral dialogue has failed to resolve the Kashmir issue so far. ''Until the real representatives of Jammu and Kashmir are not allowed to participate in the dialogue process , the long-festering issue will not be resolved,'' he added.
