Doha, Dec 7 (UNI) While the likes of Jeev Milkha Singh and Jyoti Randhawa continue to make waves in the greens around the world, India's hopes in the 15th Asian Games rest on the broad soulders of Gaganjeet Bhullar, Joseph Chakola, Chirag Kumar and Anirban Lahiri who tee off in the Doha Golf Club here tomorrow.

The Indian golfers would start on the 10th tee tomorrow.

Four years ago, Shiv Kapur, now hailed as a tremendous prospect in the pro world, struck Gold in Busan and the Indian finished fourth in the team event.

Bhullar has been paired with Korean Sung Hoon Kang and Malaysian Edmund Jonathan Au.

Chakola finds himself in company of Korean Do Hoon Kim Sr. and Ben Leong of Malaysia, while Chirag will play along side Do Hoon Kim Jr (Korea) and Sukree Rashid Othman (Malaysia).

On the other hand, Lahiri will tee off along with Korean Kyung Tae Kim and Sivachandhran Supramaniam of Malaysia.

Indian golfers are wary of their rivals from Thailand, Korea and Japan and they would have to come up with steady shows to ensure a podium finish.

In the women section, Vaishvi Sinha, Sharmila Nicollet and Meghna Bal will also walk out in the middle even though it would be a surprise if they finish within the medal bracket.
