Gang war like situation in BJP: Uma
Lucknow, Dec 7 (UNI) Bharatiya Janshakti president Uma Bharti today said 'gang war' like situation prevailed in Bharatiya Janata Party with senior leaders being ignored by the present leadership.
Ms Bharti, talking to mediapersons here, alleged senior leaders like Atal Bihari Vajpayee, L K Advani, Murli Manohar Joshi and even Kalyan Singh were being ignored by the present BJP leadership.
Inviting Kalyan Singh and Murli Manohar Joshi to leave BJP and lead Bharatiya Janshakti, she said the present BJP leadership lacked ideology and were just playing politics on the sacrifices made by these leaders.
Talking about the coming Uttar Pradesh polls, she said her party will contest the elections under the leadership of senior leader and former Union minister Sanghpriya Gautam.
Ruling out any move to rejoin the BJP at this moment, Ms Bharti said her party might consider to support the BJP government in UP after the assembly polls, if Kalyan Singh was made the chief minister.
However, she said her party would oppose the BJP, BSP, SP and Congress in the assembly polls and it was expected that Bharatiya Janshakti might go for electoral alliance with smaller parties.

The candidates are Baburam Nishad (Hamirpur), Anil Ahirwar (Charkhari-Mahoba), Mahant Ladu Das (Ayodhya), Rajendra Pal Singh (Sikrandrabad-Bulandshahar), Satveer Yadav (Bulandshahar), Shivprasad Shukla (Jalalpur-Fatehpur), Mahendra Nath Bajpai (Fatehpur), Jagrup Singh Lodh (Haswa-Fatehpur), Awadhesh Yadav (Khaga-Fatehpur) Kunwar Singh Pal (Orai-Jalaun) and Amit Singh Rajput (Bhogaon-Mainpuri).
