Farmers Association would resort to agitation from Dec 19

Vijayawada, Dec 7 (UNI) Andhra Pradesh Temple and Endowments Lease Farmers Association (affiliated to All India Kisan Sabha) has decided to organise an agitation for three days at Indira Park near Hyderabad Assembly from December 19.

Addressing a press conference here AIKS Vice-President Kolli Nageswara Rao and Lease Farmers Association General Secretary K V V Prasad demanded that the G O relating to waive the lease amount to the farmers who lost their crops in floods and drought should be released.

Their demand also included implementation of agreement between the lease farmers and Endowments Ministry in this matter and to make amendment in the Act and G O.
