Eight teams to participate in All India Postal Football Tourney

Bangalore, Dec 7 (UNI) Eight teams will be vying for top honours in the 20th All India Postal Football Tournament to be held in the Bangalore Football grounds from December eight to 12, Karnataka Circle Chief Postmaster General Meera Datta said today.

Talking to newspersons here, she said the teams were from Kerala, Tamil Nadu, Punjab, West Bengal, Orissa, Jammu and Kashmir, Haryana and Karnataka.

In the last edition of the tourney held in Shillong, Kerala Postal Circle emerged the winners, West Bengal Circle the runners up and Karnataka finished third.
