Edusat to be extended to rural areas in Haryana
Chandigarh, Dec 7 (UNI) Haryana Chief Minister Bhupinder Singh Hooda today said the Edusat (Education through satellite) system set up in Haryana would also be extended to primary schools in rural areas and it would be the largest network of its kind in Asia.
The Chief Minister, speaking at a college function at Kalanaur in Rohtak district, said that at present the students of selected senior secondary schools were being educated through Edusat.
The lectures for the Edusat system had been prepared by outstanding teachers, he said.
Mr Hooda said the competition today was in the field of education in the world and only those countries would make progress which would have excellent system of education.
