Cong leading in Chimur; Sena in Daryapur

Mumbai, Dec 7: Congress candidate Vijay Wadettiwar is leading in Chimur while Shiv Sena candidate Balasaheb Hinganikar is leading in Daryapur.

At the end of the fifth round, Congress candidate Mr Wadettiwar polled 24,470 while BJP candidate Dr Ramesh Gajbe is tailing with 20197 votes in Chimur, officials said.

Meanwhile, at the end of the seventh round, Mr Hingnikar (Shiv Sena) is leading with 25652 votes while Mr Prakash Bharsakale (Congress) has secured 24017 votes in Daryapur, the officials added.
