CITU conference to begin on Dec 7

Palakkad, Dec 7: A four-day state conference of the Centre of Indian Trade Unions (CITU) will begin here tomorrow.

CITU President M K Panthe will inaugurate the conference and Chief Minister V S Achuthanandan address the valedictory session.

CITU state secretary M M Lawrence told a news conference here today that the conference would discuss the problems faced by traditional industries, the agriculture sector and labour issues of private and public sector employees.

He said 650 delegates would attend the conference.
