Bhind SP transferred

Bhopal, Dec 7 (UNI) Bhind Superintendent of Police (SP) Raja Babu was today transferred and posted as SAF Commandant (First Battalion).

He will be replaced by Mandla SP B Vayagankar. Mandla Additional SP will hold the charge in the place of Mr Vayagankar until an IPS officer was appointed to the post.

After the death of a woman Assistant Sub-Inspector in Bhind in suspicious circumstances recently and her family members blaming the Bhind SP, it was being believed that Mr Raja Babu would be transferred.

Mr Raja Babu had also expressed suspicion of his transfer.
