Bank of Rajasthan increases interest rate on Term Deposits

Mumbai, Dec 7 (UNI) The Bank of Rajasthan Ltd has increased interest rates on term deposits effective from December 4, 2006 for the benefit of its more than two million customers across the country.

After the revision, the interest rate for deposits of one year and above will be 8.50 per cent, for seven days to 14 days interest rate has been increased from 4.50 per cent to 4.75 per cent for 15 days to 29 days from five per cent to 5.25 per cent, for 30 days to 45 days from 5.25 per cent to 5.50 per cent, for 46 to 60 days from 5.50 per cent to 5.75 per cent, for 61 days to 90 days from 5.75 per cent to six per cent and for 91 days to 120 days the increase in interest rate is from 6.00 per cent to 6.25 per cent, the release said.

For 121 days to 179 days, the bank is offering 6.50 per cent against the earlier 6.25 per cent.The bank has also increased the interest rate for 180 days to 270 days from 7.00 per cent to 7.25 per cent and for 271 days to less than one year it has increased to 7.75 per cent from 7.50 per cent, the release said.
