B T Deshmukh rushed to hospital after complaining of chest pain

Nagpur, Dec 7 (UNI) B T Deshmukh, a senior member of the Maharashtra Legislative Council, was rushed to a private hospital here this afternoon after he complained of chest pain and uneasiness.

Mr Deshmukh (Independent) was sitting in the chamber of Minister of State for Finance Sunil Deshmukh when he complained of uneasiness and chest pain, official sources said.

A short while earlier, the member had participated in a discussion on farmers' suicides in the Upper House on an opposition-sponsored motion and had come straight to the minister's chamber from there.
