Three jawans among 20 wounded in Kashmir blast

Srinagar, Dec 6 (UNI) At least 20 people, including three Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) personnel, were wounded in a grenade attack near here today, official sources said.

They said militants hurled a hand grenade towards a CRPF post near a crowded bus stand at Batamaloo here this afternoon.

However, the grenade missed the intended target and exploded on the roadside causing injuries to at least 20 people, including three CRPF personnel, the sources added.

The wounded were admitted to different city hospitals.

Later, police and CRPF personnel cordoned off the area and conducted a search operation to nab the attackers, they said.
