Swamy prasadam by post

Thiruvananthapuram, Dec 6 (UNI) Devotees of the famed Sabarimala Ayyappa Temple can now avail Swamy Prasadam by post.

An official release said India Post and Travancore Devaswom Board had implemented the Swamy Prasadam scheme.

For getting the Prasadam, devotees should send a money order of Rs 210 addressed to the Executive Officer, Travavancore Devaswom Board, Sabarimala, Pathanamthia, Pin 689713.

Swamy Prasadam includes one tin Aravana payasam, one packet Appam, one packet of Bhasmam and sandal paste, 10 ml Abhisheka ghee, one packet Malikapurathu Amma's Manjal and Kumkum, one packet of Vavar Swamy's pepper and vibhoothy and one laminated photo of Lord Ayyappa.

A sum of Rs 10 from each money order will be used for annadanam to devotees. The last date of booking of money order for Swamy Prasadam is January 10, the next year.
