Sudan Parliamentary delegation meets CM

Hyderabad, Dec 6 (UNI) Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Y S Rajasekhara Reddy said India and Sudan had very cordial relations for a long time and hoped both countries would further boost the trade relations.

The Chief Minister, while welcoming the Parliamentary delegation from the Upper Nile State of Sudan, who met him here today, said India played a great role in the peace-making process in Sudan.

The Sudanese delegation headed by Deng Chan Ayuel, Chairperson of Parliamentary Affairs Committee and Stephen Lul Nyak, Chairperson of Agriculture, Animals and Forestry Committee, Mr Dak Lual Dec, Chairperson of the Physical Infrastructure Committee and others.

State Finance Minister K Rosaiah, Home Minister K Jana Reddy and officials of the AP Legislative Assembly were also present.
