Sharma, Modi urge people to donate freely to Armed Forces Fund

Ahmedabad, Dec 06 (UNI) Gujarat Governor Nawal Kishore Sharma and Chief Minister Narendra Modi have appealed to the citizens of the State to donate generously on the Armed Forces Flag Day tomorrow.

In his message, the governor said '' The armed forces render valuable services to the nation during war and peace. This day provides an opportunity to show our honour to the armed forces by contributing generously towards Flag Day Fund.'' Chief Minister Narendra Modi has also asked the people to donate freely to the Armed Forces Fund, as he said, ''The nation owes the armed forces a debt of gratitude.'' UNI VNB KU VKG2013
