Satyam to set up big Malaysia call centre

KUALA LUMPUR, Dec 6 (Reuters) Software services exporter, Satyam Computer Services Ltd , plans to set up a major global call centre in Malaysia, staffed by 2,000 people, the firm said on Wednesday.

The new centre would serve as a hub serving several global shared-services companies across Southeast Asia, the Middle East, Australia and the United States, Satyam said in a statement.

The new centre is an addition to an existing facility staffed by 100 people, it added.
