Rapist shot at by PREPAK militants

Imphal, Dec 6 (UNI) People's Revolutionary of Kangleipak (PREPAK) activists shot a person for being allegedly involved in a rape case last evening, police said today.

The outfit alleged the man was involved in the rape of two women on November 19 last at Sekmaijin, Imphal West.

Police said the injured person has been identified and was stated to be out of danger.

The outfit had already executed one of its cadre who was alleged to have involved in the same incident.

The outfit has asked another man involved in the incident to surrender within five days.
