Platform speaker arrested for abusing police

Chennai, Dec 6 (UNI) Police today arrested Vagai Muthazhagan, a DMK platform speaker, for allegedly abusing a Police Inspector at Valliyur in Tirunelveli district.

Police said, the platform speaker had a quarrel with Raghupathy the Police Inspector, attached to Valliyur police station.

Later the arrested person was remanded to judicial custody, police added.
